I'm an 18-year-old aspiring fashion designer and producer who started a brand called $TAYBROKE. The story of $TAYBROKE began 10 years ago with my family’s advice: never let others know "what's in your pockets." They taught me to appreciate what I have, avoid boasting, and understand that showing off could lead to jealousy or loss, as we weren’t wealthy enough to replace things.

I struggled with this lesson at first, sharing details about gifts or new gadgets, which led to unwanted attention, demands, and threats. Eventually, I started telling people I was broke, which made life simpler and felt more authentic.

At 16, I got into music and needed a name that reflected me. "camtobroke" became my alias, standing out in a world where many flaunt wealth. As I explored music and social media, I realized I wanted to create something bigger—a brand rooted in my values.

$TAYBROKE became more than a name; it symbolizes resilience, authenticity, and rejecting materialism. My designs celebrate individuality, proving self-worth isn’t tied to possessions. $TAYBROKE empowers people to embrace who they are and redefine success on their own terms.
